Mum on the Rock

I find it totally amazing that complete strangers might want to read about me and my family so first of all, i have to say a bit of a thank you for coming! So i guess you might want know a little about someone who enjoys confessing the mishaps and mayhem to the world wide web so here goes....

I'm a born and bred Jersey girl who grew up and was schooled on the rock. I came back after many years of working and travelling and generally doing what young free single types do and not only got to marry my lovely man but in the blink of an eye we had also decided to take the plunge and add to the bursting population of this glorious isle. 

Time flies when you are having fun and I am now the proud, if not slightly frazzled 30 something mum of a happy little 4 year old, Bea and a nearly 2 year old cheeky monkey called Freya. My two girls are lucky (!) to have me as a full time mum, I am constantly amazed by how different my life is since they arrived....

I am a big fan of this little place we live and I really hope that, as 'Mum on the Rock' I will make you giggle as I write about the madness that is our life growing up together. Yes, you have missed the birthing stories, the smelly nappies and the weaning stories but somehow I think there is a lot of fun and frustrations ahead which I thought I would share with you, maybe just as therapy for myself! I hope you enjoy the ride.
